HI, Just back from great trip , first visited Mt Kenya and then Kilimanjaro [5896m] .First 5 days through the rain forest, heather, and moorland was great, but the climb to the top from camp starting at 11pm, 1295m up and then down to the next camp 2795m took around 20-22 hours. 10 out of the 17 made it to the top. Some of us then flew to C. Town and were treated like Royalty by Hout Bay Rotarians. Home hosted, tours meals , flight over cape, wonderful. I then went to V.Falls and North Kenya to help at a Maasi school and visit a Game park. Came home to no rain and looks like no crop. Bugger. Bob
